Welcome to the Rhode Island Health Information Management Association (RIHIMA), a non-profit organization, a component association (CA) of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). The association was founded in 1935 by a group of Medical Record Clerks working in local hospitals; their meetings gave the members an opportunity to exchange ideas pertaining to their work.

Today RIHIMA has approximately 175 members.
